Notes About The Poem

Based on a joke sent by my daughter:

an amazing find

They found old tampons that were damp
So archeologists at camp
Questioned if terra
Has a named era
For the period of this cramp

So funny Duke, the unexpected discovery of old tampons by archeologists and the playful speculation about whether there is a named era for the period of menstruation.

Glad you see the pun. This is so stupid really that it still seems funny to me. Making these limericks out of a one or two line joke feels like solving a small puzzle. I am so sorry to be so vapid, but it is who I am at times--silly me! At least we can still laugh!
