Our Amy cat died six days ago from FATE (Feline Arterial Thromboembolism). Finis vitae sed non amoris - the end of life, but not of love. My challenge entry is dedicated to Amy.

Amy cat passed
     six days ago today…
   FATE took her away
after eleven purrfect years
We offer this tribute with gratitude
     for the gray tabby ninja with cattitude —
   finis vitae sed non amoris
