Amusing
Amusing didst I wonder as I wandered mind trails I had woven
Amusing ever onward on Fancy’s foggy flights
Spreading Wings of free willed dreams to fondle with reality
and tickle tease the wall of timeless twisting nights
Contemplating nothing and feeling the total immensity of it
One tenth of one percent is hardly anything
And yet is more than all the solid particles of an atom
That leaves 99.9% of absolutely nothing to hold it all together
As I muse thru this contemplated drift
Flowing in the wind on a solid beach of sand
The stars look ever closer
I reach to caress the pathway they’ve created
Amusing and aroving and arriving as I land
Tomorrow and tomorrow Ever yester Then Today
A thousand sunset cobwebs
In a field of windblown grass
And a thousand generations
Just to sit here on my ass
A musing
