Amphitrite

Kittens in shade of pink The jolly moon in glow A glorious light had come to blink Like the hues of a rainbow The air of life, she almost took Paving light for her existence The gloomy eyes were there to look Agonizing in silence For the dawning is a wonder But the winds were harsh like thunder The throbbing heart left to ponder Shun away just to wander For the trials of clepsydra Were devious as the limbs of hydra Like the burning aura of Ra With the freezing grip of tundra But one day her charmed smiles Will untangle the folds of fate And the troubles I ran in miles Will embolden the dare of faith The faint heart shall falter no more For the ship will come to shore And the captain that she is Will bring forth the rains of bliss
