:::a-moral standing:::

          spiders have eight legs
   insects six — most mammals four
             humans mainly two
     some think they walk on water
and like slugs — leave slime trails too

You have the most original mind David...able to drag these gems out of some creative well. Just love how this one sets off a cascade of comment and reflection... Keep "trawlin" that well my friend.

Sometimes I feel like there’s nothing left to trawl Paul! But every now and then I tend to snag onto something poetically interesting, I was well happy with this one, once I got my teeth into it lol! cheers David

David LOL!!! This is a very funny poem. The way you progress sets the stage for an interesting conclusion, which some of us believe. The world is a complex place with a diversity of things happening, but we're certainly not the center of the universe. By the way, my body is 55-60% water according to the AI internet god. Does that mean I actually walk on water too? I hope you are well and sending you smiles for our brief tenure on this crazy planet.

Well Duke if the internet god says so, it must be true, we did create him after all lol! We are mostly made of watery substances, just some with god complexes don’t recognise the (slimy trail) they leave behind, cheers David

Thanks so much Sara and for the Fave, that last line says so much, I was delighted when it popped into my head, its only people that believe they walk on water, figuratively speaking anyway, cheers David

I should just say 'ditto' to Jan's comment, but I've a titch more to say. Some who walk on two legs drag two others along the ground, and as Mark Koplin would say, "Feed them peanuts and then tell them..." what I cannot repeat." Stay away from those slimy trails, David.;-)

I don’t take any of them for real Lin, it’s a shame though, because there really are good people out there that trust those self righteous types, without realising it’s a slimy trail they are following, cheers David

Heya Jan, it would be funnier if it wasn’t true, it’s very difficult to take some people serious, especially ones that repeatedly tell us how holy they are, cheers David
