Charles Henderson Poet Quatrain

Amethyst Or Azure

two stones, one hot, the other cold
amethyst and azure they be
the amethyst found in sunsets bold
azure as light pierces the sea

the amethyst of green, blue and red
azure, only green and blue
do we also have things which imbed
making us behave as we do
