Amber Autumn Leaf

Mirror mirror
On the wall
As an amber autumn leaf
I too shall fall

Nothing is promised
Not even life itself
Except if you live
You too shall meet death

So live your life well
Be happy and true
Dare to denim care
And return love too

Watch the sun rise
Enjoy the view
When moon is high
Take it in too

For life flies by in scenes
No matter your age
Sometimes it seems
To just be a phase

Until it passes
And you’ve prayed
For rose colored glasses
Of yesterday

I can see the influence of autumn in this poem. Not only leaves faling, but the end of life. No rose colored glasses but reading glasses help.
