This Christmas morning, 
a lone 
piper played
at Veterans Memorial Park:
Amazing Grace.
The haunting sound 
was tribute and lament,
and a gift to us
who passed.

Amazing Grace...its melody, its salvation - a gift to us all. A beautiful tribute to all fallen veterans. The song was played as I walked with my parents behind my Grandma’s coffin so I can relate to the haunting sound...the lovely song. Great one, Agnes!
