Alzheimers

I don’t remember
Being held as a babe
		She didn’t either
I don’t recall if
She sang me to sleep
        		She didn’t either
I remember my
First day of school
		She didn’t
		but she was there

I remember my graduation, marriage, and how
she glowed and doted over her first grand child.
	She didn’t
	and didn’t want to.

I remembered how much of a trial it was
looking after her....
Only, after she
passed away

I remember so much. What a blessing

Inspired by the devotion, love, and attention my wife gave to her mother; the last five years
of her life.

That is a hard disease on everyone that has to care for the person and all the family that has to make sacrifies so that person can care for them..Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara
