Always Dream

Laying in bed But I can't sleep For the thoughts won't leave my mind Thoughts of spending my life with you The thoughts bring tears because I realize I'm not in your arms. Standing in the shower Trying to hide the tears Hoping to wash away the pain The water on my face won't chase away the thoughts So I sit, my face buried in my knees, the steam rising around me, and cry.
