Although I Called Your Name

I was on a boat
made of my cherished memory
drifting along the river named ‘Time’
called your name; my dear, my darling

why don’t you answer my call? is it because
you cannot hear me or are you just ignoring me?
it hurts me most, I’m pierced with sadness,

because I wanted you so bad;
though, you are a heartless-man,
I waited sat by a waterfront all the night sleepless

are you lost on the way home? I felt so sad
I thought I saw a lonely shadow pass by
beckoning, and now it dwells in my heart wordless…

I kept thinking the shadow is you
and that’s why I see a wingless bird
soar in dark sky from the other side of the river bank
