Alone Again

Alone again
I can be scientific about stars
and I can count the distance
between us
in miles.

Lonely again
I can listen to the blues
and think of now
and not then.
I have a lot more time to spend.

Saying goodbye again
More truth to support the fact
that I am to blame.

Maybe it's just the way I'll always be.

Alone again.
