Alone

tears
racked face
lines soaked with
grief, a torrent
of unabating pain ....saying ..goodbye

to the love of my life ..my heart races?
how can I face 
life alone,
I love
you.

yet 
I must 
walk the path 
of loneliness 
until called home to your arms, my soulmate.
