Alone

What happened that I find myself alone?
Roar and eco out loud all alone in the dome of heart
But like the choppers that fails to see the signal smoke
The cry so loud that it makes no sound for others to hear
With pain you are ripped and you see the scars that caused
Is it like this because of who I be in relation to others?
Or is it because of an unseen scent that others can smell
That leaves a bitter taste for them not to try anymore
Whereas the only though that comes is of spit and rid the foul taste
Alone with none to share my space but my new best friend loneliness
You cause me sleepless nights asking if there is something wrong
Sad for days with no sense of excitement or pleasure from life
Drowning with sorrow with no life jacket to keep me afloat
And none comes to mind, not anything that is concrete
Like trying to find answers on a blank white paper inked by tears
Hopefully, these words will help envision and outline why I’m ALONE!
