when i see a ball sitting listless on a lawn should i be sad that it was left there alone or happy that it was played with yesterday?

I've read everything on your list to this point and stopped at this one. It could be the beers I had this evening or maybe the cold, cloudy weather, or whatever, but this one reminds me of why we write poetry.

when i see a ball sitting in a lawn, i always look for a child nearby (because of my job) guess you could look at it both ways...good one....short but packs a punch and makes one think.... :) hugs
