i see the tree outside my window aglow in the moonlight stripping almost bare dancing in the wind free suddenly i want to be that tree naked without a care of what weighs me down

Another excellent write Sandy with much to ponder...I think we all have burdens we would like to strip off, but alas the struggle continues, but we do get the strength from on high to endure!!

Well Sandra, it has been said...."dance as if no one is watching". The Red Maple outside my window is blushing....

A beautiful poem my friend. Seasons change and so do we in certain aspects. This poem speaks of a desired change, a freeing of our own adornments that somehow seem to cling to us and weigh us down.

some things that weigh us down can't be changed...we just learn to carry the weight on our shoulders... thank you my dear friend.... hugs :)

Thank you so much Kim. A moment of frustration wishing I could just strip free of diabetes or whatever else troubles me Hugs

We still have colorful leaves..falling slowly..barren trees have something to say, Sandy..as your thoughts depict.

Some trees are green some beautifully colored and some already bare. The one bare one started getting orange here and there since June , I think it has something to say. it is bare now. Thank you my friend. :). Hugs

Nicely done Sandra. Really good imagery. However I always thought the trees looked cold without their leaves. This was still a good read though. I like it. God Bless, JB

I have written some about them shivering in the winter wondering why they were dressed in summer and naked in winter, this one was about stripping free of whatever is weighing us down Thank you Judy. Hugs
