For those of you who knew or know Jan, I am sure you are missing her as much as I. For those of you who don't know her, I strongly recommend that you read some of her (Top-Notch) poetry. She was and still is a fan favorite to me and no doubt to others. Missing her dearly.

I was wondering about a friend of ours 
That has often come to mind 
A lovely poetess by all means 
She was always nice and oh, so kind 

Her stories were so delightful 
She would constantly make me laugh 
Especially, when she wrote about herself 
Or about her better half 

She wrote some really great poetry 
Some she wrote, well, just for kicks 
Her sense of humor really glowed 
When she wrote her lim-er-icks 

So, I was wondering if something happened 
Or, did something sadly go wrong 
Because it surely would be nice to see her again 
In the Soup where she belongs 

I pray, I hope... for heaven's sake 
That Jan is fine and doing well 
Because I know that down and deep inside 
That Jan's got... just so much more to tell

aww Charles I have just come across this gem and Victor is totally correct I had a rollercoaster of a ride with mum from June when i was told she was at end of life, she battled on until November and 2 weeks later her little sister died - been incredibly difficult for me on so many levels but I hope now I am coming to terms with the loss. thanks for caring so much about me:-) making this a massive fave:-) hugs and hugs again Jan xx
