Allegretto

A Rondeau - inspired by Richard Wilbur No longer shall the earth remain with wintry rainsqualls, spattered snow, for we shall with the crocus go, the sun shall sing its sweet refrain. The birds and beasts cannot be wrong to trill and squeal, so high, so low, no longer shall the earth remain with wintry rainsqualls, spattered snow. Nor shall the beavered dams detain the streaming rivers' allegretto, they shall flow where they must flow. Beasts and birds the sunrise shall sustain, no longer shall the earth remain in darkness.

Don't know what a rondeau entails but I know great poetry. Count this one into that category

The linear repetition in this poem is so clever, and I love the classic sound to it. Bravo!

This remind me of something HW Longfellow would write. Classic, beautiful earth poetry!
