All You Are To Me
I know now that my life was meant to be intertwined with yours
Whether in the past, the present, or the future does not matter
We were meant to be together
In spirit our souls are connected
Calling out to one another as time passes ever so slowly
I know that you are with me wherever I may be
I can see you, smell you, hear you, taste your kiss, and touch you within my mind
Somehow you knew exactly where I would be and when
Was it that someone told you?
Did you ask about me?
Maybe so, but what made you ask at that specific time?
The time when I needed you more than life?
I know you saw me when I was not even there
Physically I was in another place
My spirit was calling out for one that would give his all to me
As if by magic, you appeared before me, with your arms opened
It was the miracle I had been praying for in the silence of the night
As I cried all alone in the darkness
I needed something to cling to
Someone that I could count on
Then like a knight in shining armor you were there
The smile on your face said that you had been longing to see me
To be with me and share your dreams with me
You have shown me that you have the patience it takes to make a relationship truly last
That you will stand by me through all that may come my way
Through good and through bad
For you my darling I am truly thankful
Always, forever and a day was our promise
For me it remains true
I am your never ending story
You are mine
We are one in heart, mind, and body
