All Those Loose Ends

With this tear I remember you, betwixt the moon and morning's dew. Old photographs taken have cracked and faded, my roses have crumbled inside the book's pages. A gift you gave me is wrapped but broken, In pieces my heart still holds these tokens. By a thread old love is sewn into me, Binding my heart with memories. I often tug at its loose ends, I'm sewing my heart and hoping it mends. Vickie Hurtt-Thayer
