All Things Pale
ALL THINGS PALE
fire started in hell ~
beckoning the lonely girl
with fierce crimson glow
the matchsticks hold hands
with an unrelenting grip ~
horror lights her face
her red hair aflame ~
all things pale come out to stare
and steal her away
cemetery froths ~
moonlight strikes burning image
of specters’ features
douse of teardrops drain
all color from her young frame ~
eternally chained
