All the Little Pieces- Contest
“Fragments and crumbs of life, all the little pieces”
They make life worth living, until it ceases.
We complain when we have nothing to do and bored.
No one understands that being able to breathe is a reward.
We are too wrapped up in ourselves and our big goal.
Our pursuits blinds us and we don't see life as a whole.
All my little crumbs I will remember and treasure.
No matter how small it was, happiness can't be measured.
The trivial things, like being at my grandmas decorating picture frames,
or going to watch my older brother at his grade school volleyball games.
Those small glimpses back in time mean so much its hard to say.
I get choked up thinking about them, because they both passed away.
You never know what your last memory of a person will be.
That's when all those fragments count, someday you'll see.
Life isn't about fame, its about those crumbs and what your giving.
On your death bed, you'll add up all those pieces, and see they made life worth
living.
