I clearly see anguish written all over
your face with black ink, and I see
pieces of you scattered before me like
shards of glass. I sense your unwillingness...
to take yet another chance at love again,
but have no fear. I'm here to hold
your hand. I promise not to mislead you
Never mind who hurt and deserted you
You needn't breathe a single word
about your pain and heartache;
they show through your telling eyes
But I'm here to kiss away all your tears
So take refuge in my comforting arms;
let me in to your heart and allow me
to stay forever, I'll glue you back
again, broken piece by broken piece
If you let me heal you, I'll make you
infinitely stronger than ever before
I'd fix all the broken pieces of your heart
with the sheer power of my love.
