Your lines expectedly weigh in tonnes and your consistency has made you a master of masters in this act. This is beyond compliments. Good work mate. An absolute beauty.

Lots of grand masters here. I pale in comparison, thanks though Funom for your kind compliment.

Mystery my friend, the greatest mystery is, Who are we? Not who we believe we are or want ourselves to be by our own perceptions, Who are we really, what are we, both an instrument of beauty and horror, a giver a thief, a contradiction to the natural order of things, "I think therefore I am" We are nothing, we are everything, we are until we are no more, then again I'd rather have tea than coffee when my mind is empty, so I'll just breathe until someone figures out the mystery

It is a mystery. No one has the exact answer until it occurs.

At some point we will all find the answers to our own mystery. x

I’m not sure which I enjoyed more, the poem or your conversation with Frederic. I level ike one who is eavesdropping. I do agree that we all reach the same destination. I also believe it is well beyond our ability to imagine it. Poetry from time to time provides a momentary glimpse.

I do confess Lamoureux, sometimes the comments can be far more entertaining than the poetry.

we all have our beliefs, whether they turn out to be truths is beyond my shore, where I stand to search, could that my soul lead me beside the still waters in peace and allow my journey not to be covered in the blood of who is right and who is abhorrent, I am in awe of all I see and bewildered by those who seem to be blind to even their own belief..." forgive them, for they know not what they do"... a quote from a book I once read...

"There is a kind of character in thy life, That to the observer doth thy history Fully unfold. Thyself and thy belongings Are not thine own so proper as to waste Thyself upon thy virtues, they on thee. Heaven doth with us as we with torches do, Not light them for themselves for if our virtues Did not go forth of us, 'twere all alike As if we had them not."

if not for the essence of what's within we would be yet another animal upon the Earth that reacts only to its needs to survive, the question is how many of us grasp the within to be used like a Sherpa guide and cross the many mountains we must cross to find the peaceful valley of our soul...I hear the sound within and join the songbirds in their joy...if only humanity would listen...if only...my first thoughts after reading dear poet

Monsieur Parker. My first thoughts after reading your post, dear poet and friend. A 'reader' and a 'writer' and/or a 'human', process many scenarios, reasons and outcomes in their life journey, we are all on our own path, but I stand by my constant belief and the 'reality', that we all reach the same destination and that is the 'Cross Road'. From that point, it's all in the review. Take that as you will. x

Quality cannot be measured...call it the spirit of you...the invisible within the visible...

Arturo you always come through with a 'classy' response, that is rather deep and can be read many ways, but intuitively I understand what you are saying implicitly. And your work is totally immeasurable and of the highest quality. What is not seen in many, that which remains hidden or invisible, can go either way, but either way, it is preordained and the message is in the journey. A friend...of sorts. x Leanne
