HOMETOWN Our children, our families, our cities, A shining reflection of our respect. We are doing our best, while some giant companies Do their utmost to ruin the world. With brazen and inhumane recklessness. In turn, we the people, are blamed for its ruination. Of this great and shining nation. They take away paper bags,plastic straws , hot dogs, what's next? Styrofoam is my guess! Then sell you carcinogenic products by the galore by the score. It's you, they blame for the rotten environment. They get faux scientists, to prove you are evil! Whilst selling you poisons to use at home, most dangerous and despicable. We hue and cry over the scourge of cancer! Refusing to listen or learn what Carcinogenic products we use each day That brings deathly cancer our way. We dance along this yellow brick road A most dangerous highway. We poison our lawns ever so merrily. Then send our beloved dogs outside to roll in poisoned grass in glory! Are you totally mad? I suggest, if you believe it's so safe, Take a bath when the moon is up. You yourself, roll naked in the lymphoma producing grass.. Completely, bare _ssed! The world is not ending, is someone a seer? Perhaps, they had too much beer, or most likely a political hack. To frighten your soul, to rip a vote from your guileless back? To pit the world against against each another, To fill our hearts with worry and fear. Tell them "No more"! Do what you can wherever you live. Look deep into your own soul, love your fellow man! 6/25/2024

Dearest Pangie, wow! Your poem packs a punch! I can feel the anger towards big companies, which is palpable, and the imagery of the "yellow brick road" is spot-on. It really does make one stop and think about the hidden dangers around us. You and I must have been on the same wavelength because I have a whole series that I am posting on the environment. Dear Daniel, I have concerns that extend beyond this, but I am joyful that you got the impact of this. Mainly, about many countiries supporting killers as victims? Our press needs to be honest, but it is not, the biggest search engine acts like Big Brother also…Russian warships are in Cuba. A WOKE army Armed services supporting enemies..the world is Orwellian. Innocent people in jail. The list is long but honestly, people are unaware or they want to be enslaved. How many poets dare write a poen about this?they wont They prefer jokes to reality. This might cost us our freedom. Pangie

This is all true, Pangie. They are inventing stuff to scare people while at the same time, feeding cancerous foods to us. The world IS ending, if you believe in Revelations. It may still take a while but it probably come after the new World Order gets set up, Satan's plan.

Andrea, i was thinking of you when I wrote this! I know that you are quite aware words going on in the world. I know we don’t want to think about it, but the world is ending. And it will end when God is it to end not when we use it to him, but he is more powerful than any company could ever hope to be. Will will try. The NWO, who are thse creeeeps? Soo glad you came by! Paige! Read Andrea’s comment.Very powerful. We can do what we can. I always suggest…the written word…,wake people up.!! I am not here to lull poets into a a Nirvana of unconsciousness. Nor, here to be flip or meaningless! Nor to entertain.Let other poets do that. Not me. I try to be as truthful as I can in my poetry.. That may bring on enemies and so what?I am not here to be adored or loved, or meaningless. Pangie

Hi, Linds, Most regioms here are not out to destroy the world,seen any mass murders my craxed regioms in the thousands i havent, and in politis, the left is big on climate change and some onthe right, as well i might ne naive, but when you live in CA, you see all kinds of zaninesx. Takes trip to Berkeleg andwatchnuts try to burn down university buildings.. Drive through Berkeley and you’ll get a contact high, it stinks. Pangie

Hello Panagiota, everywhere i look where there are trees, A lot of dead trees are still standing. No leaves grow on them any more. That bothers me. Cows are blowing methane into the envroment. We pass gas, doe it not go into the air? I noticed climate change, we have had strange weather in winter.It would be like spring, or like summer. Yes what Adrea said sounds true. Hugs. /darlenexxx

Darlene. They think cows areblowing too much methane into the enveronment.. whether we have real food..they donot care. I see your point, you better read up on climate change? How about in California? We cannot shut down dead threes, who creates forest fire and death here. Read Abrea’s comment above. all the vaccine madness is another way to get rid of human beings.! Very sad. Many young people are in Wilshire like Eddie’s age.17. The WHO is awful. World Health Organization. Pangie.

The game of governments is to allow companies tcreate some disatrous products. There are so crazy now they even want to kill cows for passing gas. Why not kill us too and animals? That’s how nutty they are. Its awful Pangie
