All My Life Waiting For You
Our hearts met for the very 1st time
As we sit here smiling at each other
I feel so close to you
Your eyes shine bright as you look into mine
A soft breeze blows
Trees rustle
The warmth of the sunshine
The anticipation of a 1st kiss.
A gentle soft kiss
Twinkle in your eye
Beaming smile
Have we known each other before
Just waiting to meet outside your door
Were you always in my heart
In a place kept just for you
Hold my hand in yours
Walk with me
Keep me safe and warm
It took along time to find you
You were just outside my door
I have a place waiting in my heart
For now and ever more.
