All I Want For New Year

All I want for new year
Is to give praise to God; 
Worship Him with my heart, 
Despite the threat of flood.

Horizon may be bleak, 
Uncertain and stormy; 
All I wish is to stay
Active in my duty.

I want to remain firm
In true faith, hope, and love; 
In spite of affliction, 
I will serve God above.

I want to continue
Calling God's divine name; 
Keeping the spirit's fire
Just alive and aflame.

Days shall come to a close, 
World's end is drawing near; 
Wait for God's promise is
All I want for new year.
