All I Ask

You don't have to 
set a trap 
for my heart, dear. 
You don't have to
cry or plead for it.
You don't have to
compete 
against another
to stake your claim,
for my heart has but
ONE room.
It could be yours,
and only yours 
to occupy!
You don't have to
chase after it, my lovely.
I'll give you
my heart.
I'll give it 
to you
willingly,
if you 
give me yours.
That is all I ask.
