Seven years seems a bit extreme , unless she was hideous to see. O'Louie may have been too busy with a few other maidens. I think I have never written a Tanka. Yours sets imagery and mind to pondering the life of those kings and the court maidens that were always there to--please--... Stay safe my friend. God bless...

I was amazed by Versaille from its beginnings with Louis XIV to the court of Louis XVI.
