All Creatures Monorhyme
ALL CREATURES - monorhyme
Oh! No! No! all things are not beautiful and bright
In Nature there are aspects of the night
Must be in the Holy Author’s fertile write
At least for this phase of life neath His spotlight
Cockroach, spider, serpent each has its birthright
While lion and leopard need deer for appetite
Our lives not played in an Elysium of delight
But diverse world to be faced without respite
Do you crave heaven perfect your aspiring height
Neither conflict, nor with challenge put to flight
Where dragons’ breath is tepid, tigers cause no fright
Might time seem to pass in endless bland twilight?
Conundrum solved by Ancient Mariner’s insite
Redemption with each creature blessed by him aright
