All Alone's Not So Bad

Since my birth, I've always been a loner being a single child learned how to cope having a stammer increased my loneliness but learned never to give up hope One leans to adjust to life's challenges wisdom shows how you can overcome in your heart, God leaves a living seed giving you certainty to constantly feed Many years ago when living single would love going on holidays all alone people thought it strange and odd but why not? never felt need to mingle When first retired loved to travel loving nature walks in the woods so peaceful and calm feeling free in Scotland's scenery beauty stood All alone's not so bad makes me feel so very glad sensing power felt within makes one sure set to win!

I love to be alone (with my dogs). I love to be with people, too, but I do understand the communing with nature when alone, and the feeling of freedom being alone brings. Take care.

It all depends on how we view life. If one can be happy being a loner, why not ! Scotland is a beautiful country with lovely landscapes where nature is at her best ! A poet like you can derive a lot of inspiration strolling through country sides. Really enjoyed this beautiful poem,Gordon

Being a loner has made you a stronger person Gordon and God was never far away. As for Scotland I've been three times and loved every minute I was there. My name is descended from Scottish settlers in Ireland and I love the sound of the bagpipes. Hope you're well. Tom
