All Alone's Not So Bad

Since my birth, I've always been a loner
being a single child learned how to cope
having a stammer increased my loneliness
but learned never to give up hope

One leans to adjust to life's challenges
wisdom shows how you can overcome
in your heart, God leaves a living seed
giving you certainty to constantly feed

Many years ago when living single
would love going on holidays all alone
people thought it strange and odd
but why not? never felt need to mingle

When first retired loved to travel
loving nature walks in the woods
so peaceful and calm feeling free
in Scotland's scenery beauty stood

All alone's not so bad
makes me feel so very glad
sensing power felt within
makes one sure set to win!
