All-You-Can-Eat

knowledge afloat
remains powerless
waiting
to be
plugged in
bugged out
anticipating
the radio alarm clock
WAKE UP!

use colors
shapes
push buttons
twist knobs

pull into parking space
sunburn in the spot
gathering rays to erase the poison

KILL
polluted cells
a trade secret to
tastily treat one's self

take the high road
the shady street
the path less traveled
which one matters little
especially when
in comparison terms with
the reward, the apple, the brain food, the

there at the fingertips
of y.o.u.

A pleasure to read your poetry today JSL. I will try to come back later this week to read more. I have a spring cold and not up to reading for too long. Have a wonderful week. Love, Carol

Back here again :) I really like what you say, how you write words that are "all ours"-- then I thank you, seeing those words through your pen (through your mirror?) can be quite refreshing :D and hehe as for confused, believe me, I confuse even myself, so I can get happily confused, haha :D!

Ah, I hope I got what you are saying here-the tree of knowledge indeed has all those dapply apple fruits all hanging for us to harvest and gobble up, up for us how to eat and cook it if ever, or if we let it rot-- shucks-- I can read so much into this, I think I can go on & on & on... thanks for the food for thought Joey! Yum, yum, yum :D burp ~! Apple pie ala mode?
