ALIVE NOT DEAD

My people I have seen seas of pains With series of painted assaults and Hatred from elites of illiteracy My people no not again my people For it is the same people that gives Us this sad injection of deprivation If I should sit down to eat even With out hunger I will eat more than A glutton after surviving the Jos Massacre They have crushed our plates with Food by bending Benue to bleed Zamfra to bleed Nkpor with blood erosion Leaving my home will not solve The blood suckers problem But to stay back with metal fellows To fight back as a scholar Let the pains of the innocent ones Be respected Let the bombers be given death of The law to swallow our bones are Broken beyond medication Vultures are tired of eating the flesh Of our young men Our children and our women of Adoration One day the blood of justice will Bath this barbaric culprits

what horror you describe. I am sorry if you are having to live in these conditions. I know some poets here who are really struggling in their countries. It's so very sad. My prayers for peace in your land.

Darlene my dear, its my utmost desire for their to be global peace and unity in the world. But the certainty of life is that there are those who derive joy in the pains, sufferings and death of others especially innocent and harmless people around the world.

Filled with vibrant imagery; so much suffering goes on in this world; but, yes we must fight with education and wisdom; I don't know why the human race is so violent and full of hate. Each of us who share this world have to taken the initiative and stand up to those full of hate and rage. Well penned.

Kiser the certainty of life that evil will always try to stop good things but people of good will and conscience must stand against it strongly less evil prevails. Thanks for your thoughts.

SUCH POWERFUL WORDS CONVEYING IN TRUE POETIC FORM THE INJUSTICES OF HUMANITY! YOU SPEAK FROM THE DEPTHS OF A SOUL WHO HAS LIVED AND DARES TO RISE UP TO TELL THE WORLD AND OPEN THEIR EYES AND HEARTS SO ONE DAY...HOPEFULLY THE BEST OF HUMANITY WILL PREVAIL. You, my friend are a great poet and humanitarian. It is a honor for me to have read this. Thank you! Elaine
