Alien Abduction

The door slid open the sweat poured down
Gasping for breath we did not drown
Time was up we were abused
No human hand, I mused
A laser of light
What a fright
Space men  
Ten.

congrats on your contest win with this eerie alien abduction, I like how you introduced rhyme into your nonet...yes I can imagine how hillsborough brought back those sad memories for you, I too know the pain of that loss and have written a number of poems on the subject...
