There’s a new kid in town in DC
With an old and tired philosophy
To make everything free’s what she says

With a theory of life adolescent
In which everyone wins prize and a present
You should not need to work, so she says
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Let’s have socialism more and more
Though it’s never worked well before
But we’ll do it right this time she says
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
If we ban fossil fuels and air travel
And make capitalism unravel
We can live close to her as our res.
With Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
You ask: “Who is to pay for our stuff
For what’s free and we all get enough?”
Get it all from the rich, so she says
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
But how shall we get the wherewithal
When we’ve spent it and there’s a shortfall
We can make it on printing press says
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
When the money’s worth nought to avail ya
We’ll live like Cuba and Venezuela
All as happy as Maduro and Chavez
With Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Then with no toilet paper and soap
But a liberal helping of dope
You’ll be feeling no pain in your heads
With Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Now she’s rich on the gravy train sweet
Politicians, the nouveau elite
We take care of ourselves now, she says
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Would you like as POTUS.: AOC
Though you might be thinking “FOC?!“ *
In a nightmare we dream in our beds
