Wow, you met him!! This charmer of a guy was a big part of my childhood. I think Jim Carrey drew some inspiration from him. Didn't watch "The Dick Van Dyke Show" much, but I was a fan of his movies "Mary Poppins" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"--which I watched religiously-- when I was about 9 years old or so. What a dancer, too! I still remember his impossible-to-imitate dance from the CCBB song number "Me-Ol' Bamboo" Nice tribute, William!:-)

Thank you, Edward, Brits would critique his Brit-attempt accent from "Mary Poppins" as being the most hilarious by an American. I believe that one of its genres was slated as being a comedy Aloha!
