Airbrushed

So thin,
with perfect hair
and flawless skin.

Arms and thighs
are just
the right size.

No lumps, rolls,
dimples
or moles.

This has to be
a fake image
I see.

Sounds like you are talking about a doll, women like this to me are not real, very good write Ana, a good looking woman or man to me would be a nice buxom, not too fat person as long as they are in proportion, take care my dear friend.........Vera.......

Yes,a woman like doll....I wrote this poem because I hate seeing our teenage girls admiring magazine models because they look perfect but in fact they're airbrushed to look perfect...."fake image"...thx for visiting Vera!!! :)Ana

Yes! more than likely. It is hard to tell what is real and not real in this world of electronic illusions. Wonderful writing Ana. Also... I thank you for your comments on my poem 'Broken Eyes'. Elaine

Once it used to be make-up and clothes that made the difference; now most pictures get a photo-shop make-over!! // paul

This is so true, I love it! People who airbrush their photos will wonder someday if they picked up someone else's scrapbook because they don't recognize themselves.

You're right ! I hate how my children admire the models and it's not a real image of them... Makes me sad. Thanks for visiting Monterey :) Ana
