Air Travel
bags are packed cautiously locked
ready to go
car trip to airport feels cramped
emotions plateau
weigh-in and check-in formalities
extremely slow
final good-byes security scrutiny
passport control
departure clock promising leaving
on time
heavy hand luggage warily tolerate
anticipate crime
boarding claustrophobic cramped space
aisles align
narrowed encumbering burdens as
knees decline
seating accomplished a major feat
companion random
anticipate take off adrenalin rush
stresses abandon
safety procedures inevitably commence
accidents happen
relief as drinks trolley heads my direction
air-travel rescue wagon
