Air Travel

bags are packed cautiously locked ready to go car trip to airport feels cramped emotions plateau weigh-in and check-in formalities extremely slow final good-byes security scrutiny passport control departure clock promising leaving on time heavy hand luggage warily tolerate anticipate crime boarding claustrophobic cramped space aisles align narrowed encumbering burdens as knees decline seating accomplished a major feat companion random anticipate take off adrenalin rush stresses abandon safety procedures inevitably commence accidents happen relief as drinks trolley heads my direction air-travel rescue wagon © September 2013- Kim van Breda

I LOVED THIS ONE, KIM! What an interesting and creative way to share these emotions!!! GOOD FOR YA, GIRL! :) I feel all the same things you mentioned here...I don't like the process of traveling, but I do like seeing a new place. This was wonderful! HUGS!
