Just a quick scribble for Tom Woody's. If there was one thing I could change poetry contest..

There are many things I want to change, but equality is very important for me, especially for women who suffer all over the world..

In a world where chains restrict, my one wish would be for everyone to be free. If I could alter the fate of those forced into silence - I would unmute unheard voices. My gift to the world would not be the statue of liberty, it would be to end patriarchy. So everyone can walk unbound, unshackled, and speak their truth, spreading their gospel without ridicule. Each person's story to unfold, softly among appreciative ears. In hearts and minds we can all sing our forever freedom song, echoing loud among universal waves. No tyranny, no oppressive imperialists, no political interference from ignorant minds - only procreation of serene co-existence. A birth of personalities of dignity, blooming in an essence of evergreen spirits, under sapphire skies of serenity. In every hue we would be free like the sun, bathing in the light of independence. All genders shining, regardless of shade, where shadows are as pure as our souls. To exist without fear, to have no separation, to never be a tick box, to never be placed in a category, so we can actually find humanity, in world where we share an air of freedom.

Well put, still too many countries under tyranny led by despot leaders. Freedom never comes easy, as many wars have proved, but slavery is death behind bars, and has no place in the 21st century.

Your sensitivity and compassion for humankind runs deep in your poetic words. The need for freedom is a universal human trait and paramount to human existence. To be appreciated regardless of race, sex, religion, gender, etc. would be wonderfully freeing. I especially liked the last verse. Enjoy your evening, Sara

It’s a huge problem to tackle S1, (patriarchy) it’s almost enshrined in every known religion, I too wish it could be abolished (not religion) just the patriarchal elements, it’s loosening up here in Ireland, but still no women priests allowed? an admirable choice, (if there was one thing you would change) cheers David

This poem reflects the ideals of our creator. It eloquently encapsulates the core of our humanity and your caring nature. Your spontaneous composition is truly outstanding. This impactful work evokes strong emotions and holds attention wholeheartedly. Men tend to write about women more engagingly.

Imagine how this world could be... if only. More than a heartfelt wish, these words are the perfect prayer for someone like me who struggles with expressing exactly what's in her heart. A fave, for sure. Thank you for sharing.

How beautiful is this, another wish i definitely wish in a world that is patriarchal, one could only wish for that, and if we have more souls like you i believe, the world would be a better place. Your quick scribbles are the best. And this is such a powerful write that hits so strong and is soulfully moving! You always leave me in awe captivated, and its not always we see a man write on this subject, so as a woman, i would say, thank you, for writing this, and i love the flow of this and

How youve phrased so many lines in this, and i think tom woody will like this too, a world that is free, is what he would wish for too. I especially love the lines “ To exist without fear, to have no separation, to never be a tick box, to never be placed in a category, so we can actually find humanity,“ wow! How do you always do this! I just am left spellbound, Speechless, couldn’t have said it any better! “ My gift to the world would not be the statue of liberty, it would be to end patriarchy. So everyone can walk unbound, “ if only…. I wish! Love this! Youv nailed it really! As always! Best wishes for the contest!
