Age of Oblivion

Our Indolence,
Leads to grievances,
Blindly accepting,
Always expecting,
Truth be told,
Knowledge is gold,
But half truth are sold,
Ignorance we hold,
Blind and asleep,
As floods flow deep,
Drown in submission,
Gifting remission,
Minds are conquered,
Slaves to be ordered,
Survival is offered,
Present is slaughtered,
Living in Death,
False Future is pressed,
Seek to content,
Moments in event,
But eyes stray in glare,
Hearts, never aware,
Welcome to this time,
Where lies lead the blind,
Within, Nothing,
Yet outside reaching,
For more than needed,
Limitations are seeded,
Wonders through screens,
Conformed to not think,
Full of opinions,
In this Age of Oblivion.
