Against the Wind

Riding in town, against the wind, windows open, a beautiful day
Clear skies and mountain views, along my traveled way
I think of many years in life, riding against the wind so strong
Making my way through things that happened to go wrong
I always kept on trying, as the years quickly passed
Thankful for everything I have, that continues to last
I can only do the best I can, with what my life deals me
I will always try at every hill and turn, against the wind to see
The scenes and precious moments, the good in life there is to be
