Thanks a bunch, Milt... I’ll be singing (screeching) that song all day now. Still it is a smashing song as is your haiku a smashing haiku. Terry

I think it was by the Starland Vocal Band... and includes the lyric 'Rubbing sticks and stones together makes the sparks ignite and the thought of rubbing you is getting so exciting '. Cant think why I liked that lyric as a youngster. Terry

This is funny, Terry, because I don't thinking I ever heard the song "Afternoon Delight." Thanks for the heads-up. I'm going to look it up and listen!

Monarchs are plentiful here in September, arriving by the thousands to fuel up on beach golden rods and other autumn flowers, then continue migrating to other lands, notably South America. Sadly, certain ladies kill them by inserting needles up their rear and make collages of them! Wish it was the other way around! / Maurice

Me too, Maurice. I can't imagine that kind of cruelty so such lovely creatures treasured by so many people.

Well done! Sadly, Monarch butterflies are the favourite breakfast of bulbuls!

I love the orange hue on that kind of butterfly, it's my favorite. I agree with Tom, a nice glass a wine would set the tone for this beautiful piece. Good job, Milt. Justin.

Ah, such a pleasure...especially a nice white chablis.
