After the Dusk Is Gone
A-s you wake Thursday morn,
R-ising sun starts to shine;
N-ew day begins to break,
O-pening your heart and mind.
L-ight twentieth October brings warmth and glow;
D-ark shadows disappear, along with the sorrow.
G-ray clouds in the sky
A-re brightened by the beacon;
B-urning flame fuels the fire
A-bove the long horizon.
T-wilight Wednesday turns
I-nto a wonderful dawn;
N-ight chill has vanished, after the dusk is gone.
