After Hurricane Blow

Bouncing from hurricane’s grim aftermath Our faith ascends to withstand, cope and face As brave warriors surmounting nature’s wrath Thanking God for bestowed triumphant* grace. Prepared for another storm’s arrival Our will marches on steadfastly fervent Victorious still, beyond mere survival Trusting the Lord Who controls each event. We indeed win our personal battles While reaching-out to those in pain with care Propped by the Saviour, vanquishing rattles To weather against frustration despair.
*2Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ… October 31, 2020
