After a Fashion
My wife has a passion for fashion;
She yearns to be dressed, head to toe
In sable and mink (although I think
That’s a bit controversial you know)
She buys Vogue magazine and Harper’s Bazaar
And reads them from cover-to-cover.
But the price of the clothes, if she wants to buy those,
She’ll have to find a rich lover.
She has plenty of clothes in the wardrobe,
And if she wants to buy more,
I’ll take her down to our little town
To visit the second-hand store
