African President

When I fail to perform
I blame the system and form
The society, the community
Blame it on my friends
And life’s old trends
Blame it on my providence
Blame it on outside influence
Blame it on the citizens
Blame the populace
Blame history, blame the past
Blame everyone quick and fast
Blame the mountains and the hills
Blame the waters and the seas
Blame the gods
Blame the skies
Blame the powers that be
Blame everyone but me
Because all I want is another term
