Advise and Repent

Speak No Evil My love for the lady is visceral, sweet, Absent of jealousy, immune to deceit. Whether near daybreak or crepuscular night, Her penumbra defeats the ambient light. Do not cloud my thoughts with your cynical views, Desultory comments advanced to abuse. I accept in the halcyon part of my mind The opulent fiction she loves me in kind. Thus in ways sonorous, exuberant all, Speak well of the siren who keeps me in thrall. 1/29/2016

Thanks, Janice. Too bad I discovered too late that I could have rhymed "crepuscular" with "muscular."
