It’s Regal Lager
Anyway you look at it
Forwards or backwards

Just grab a hot dog
Slop some mustard on it
Relish if proffered

Take a squishy bite
Then wash it round with Regal
Soak it up with chips

Grab another dog
Another beer it’s summer
Forget the paunch the hips

It was such a pleasure to read your poetry today Daver. I hope to be able in the next few weeks to find the time and energy to read and comment. May you walk through the garden of inspiration and continue to write and share your poetry with us. Love, Carol

Ouf...about those "lager" paunches, Daver, I'd always thought the big ones looked so round and smooth, like I'd want to poke one to see if it would deflate:(. A fun summer time write!! Fun images to bring out onto a back yard porch!! Love, Mikki
