Adulthood

Adulthood

A big “Mazel Tov” to the bride and groom
Blushing and sweating, each smiling face
Loud, hearty cheers go up across the room
Here’s two new contestants for life’s big race!

A union in fate’s journey together
There will always be problems, there’s no doubt
Even when you’re two birds of a feather
If you’ve got a spouse, you’ll never run out!

Work and home life just add more of the same
Now I dare you to add kids to the mix
If you’d once enjoyed adult fun and games
All free time you had just got the deep six

Think you don’t look slick? No need to abort.
Adulthood’s a strictly amateur sport!

For Sure! Sometimes you wish life came with an instruction book. You grow up remembering all the mistakes your parents made with you and vow to NEVER DO THAT. And you don't, you make different ones instead. As you say, life has no shortage of problems. It's how we handle those problems that count. Great job here. God Bless, JB
