150-word Vignette For Suzette Richards' Relativity - Time - A Vignette Poetry Contest

_______________________________________________________________________

On the precipice of womanhood, not knowing what my future love life could be, I gazed back into the brown eyes of Guy, a handsome boy from French Quebec. Utterly enthralled, I had never experienced such adoration before. He touched his eyelashes to mine. I felt his breath against my cheek as he playfully kissed me behind my earlobes and down my neck. His fingers never lunged toward my chest as had others who had tried this before. He focused on my face as his hands found their way down my spine, then caressed my waist. When his lips met mine, there was no rush to tongue. We were in synch with smooth, beautiful kisses. When finally he blessed me with his “French” kiss, I was his blissful slave, wishing for our two hours parked in front of my house to never have to come to its swift inevitable end. *Note to the Reader: Guy WAS the name of this "guy" but in his language, it's pronounced GEE (hard G).

Andrea the emotion and heartfelt memory of Guy and that once in a lifetime moment that lives eternally in your heart mind and soul says a lot of how you felt for this young man. Your words say so much about him a gentleman as you realized and a chemistry that would make any fourth of July dull. I am sure if you cant turn back time there would have been a different outcome, maybe. I felt this way toward a love that I had that I took for granted and regretted it the rest of my life. Lovely piece.

I do hope so. I hope he is still alive and that he had a good life. He actually found out my new phone number when I had moved to a new state. He actually tracked me down after that one night I had with him, three whole years later. My heart fell. I was a new mother and had married the year before.

Such a sensual write, Andrea. How many adolescent males are oblivious to a ladies true erogenous zones, I know not… but I’m equally unsure if I sympathise with the ‘boy’ or the girl. Anyway, if it’s okay with you… I’m gonna take a few notes… ;-)

I may be different than a lot of other women, Terry. I am a true romantic, but I know realistically that such initial feelings in first love do not last indefinitely. That is probably one reason for so many divorces today. People expect fairy tale love to never end. Another note for you: some girls love "handsies" similar to footsies!

Been there done that... starting at 5 years old. You poetically tell your story well. New love is such a thrill, especially for the young

Lol. No, I'm sure I was a lousy kisser, though she seemed to be rather enjoying herself ;)
